Over 430 Years of Kyoto Heritage
A Renowned Ginza Boutique of Timeless Elegance
Founded in 1584 in Kyoto, Eirizen is one of Japan’s most prestigious kimono houses, with more than 430 years of history. The Ginza branch, located on Suzuran-dori for over half a century, moved to a newly designed modern space in January 2022. The warm wooden interior and open, light-filled atmosphere create a refined yet welcoming boutique. Eirizen Ginza offers kimono imbued with elegance and dignity, known as the house’s signature style. While rooted in the graceful aesthetic of Kyoto, the selection is carefully tailored to Tokyo’s preference for calm and sophisticated colors. The boutique also provides a wide range of accessories, along with services such as repair, resizing, and recoloring, helping customers cherish their kimono for many years. Another highlight is the original art-inspired Furoshiki cloths, featuring motifs from The Tale of Genji and Kyoto’s three great festivals. These fine textiles, also available online, are highly valued as gifts.
