Amanoya Asakusa

Celebrating individuality
with stylish kimono and obi

Facing Asakusa’s Orange Street, lined with many kimono-related stores, Amanoya is a kimono salon where tradition meets fashion. On the first floor, you will find a variety of kimono accessories, zori sandals, and dressing essentials. The second floor offers a curated selection of fine silk kimono and obi, from formal Houmongi and elegant Komon to contemporary designs. With a focus on individuality, Amanoya presents ways to enjoy kimono as fashion, ranging from timeless classical motifs to bold, modern expressions. Monthly exhibitions feature the works of artisans and textile houses from across Japan, allowing visitors to encounter rare and creative pieces.
